On June 30, D&A LLC hosted a webinar titled “Legal Standards for Determining Workplace Harassment.”

The webinar was designed for HR, legal, and internal audit professionals responsible for handling workplace harassment matters within their organizations. The session focused on major court decisions and key practical issues, exploring the legal standards for determining workplace harassment and practical corporate response strategies. Drawing on its extensive case experience and practical expertise, D&A’s Criminal & Compliance (C&C) Group presented practical solutions to help companies prevent legal risks and respond effectively to workplace harassment issues.

The webinar was moderated by Partner Dhong Joo KIM, Head of D&A’s Criminal & Compliance Group 1, who previously served at the Criminal Affairs Bureau of the Ministry of Justice, the Office of the Senior Secretary for Civil Affairs at the Presidential Office, and as Chief Prosecutor of the Public Security Affairs Division at the Seoul Central District Prosecutors’ Office. In addition, Partner Dae Hwan PARK, who has extensive experience handling criminal cases, including his tenure as Chief Prosecutor of the Criminal Division I at the Supreme Prosecutors’ Office, and Partner Kwang Hyun BACK, who has gained broad experience in investigations and corporate advisory matters, participated as panelists. They engaged in an in-depth discussion of major workplace harassment cases and practical corporate response strategies.

The speakers also introduced the key features of the “Occupational Safety and Health Disclosure System,” scheduled to take effect in August, along with key compliance considerations for companies.

D&A plans to continue its webinar series in the second half of the year with an advanced session on responding to search and seizure, where the firm will discuss key legal issues and practical response strategies for companies in greater depth.
