On April 28, D&A LLC signed an MOU with the Korea Federation of Micro Enterprises (KFME) at the Small Business Digital Center in Dohwa-dong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, to provide legal support for small business owners.
The signing ceremony was attended by Managing Partner Jin Dong KIM and Partner Sung Jin KIM from D&A, and by Executive Vice President Wang Jae LEE, along with Team Leaders Yoon Ho JUNG and Hyo Jin KIM from KFME.
Under the MOU, the KFME will identify small business owners who are closing their businesses or have been affected by unfair trade practices and refer them to D&A for legal assistance. In response, D&A will provide legal advisory and dispute resolution services to these businesses. The firm plans to actively assist the KFME and its member companies in addressing various legal issues arising in the course of their business operations.
Managing Partner Jin Dong KIM stated, “We hope this agreement will provide meaningful support to small business owners who are in legal blind spots. D&A will do its utmost to create an environment where small business owners can focus on their livelihoods with peace of mind, leveraging our professional legal expertise.”
Meanwhile, D&A has been selected this year as a service provider for the Small Business Legal Support Program organized by the Small Enterprise & Market Service (SEMAS). As part of this program, the firm provides legal advisory and debt restructuring services to small business owners facing closure, as well as legal support for those affected by unfair trade practices.
