Mr. Kim was appointed as a judge at the Busan District Court in 1992 and subsequently served as a judge at the Seoul High Court, a Research Judge at the Supreme Court of Korea, and a Presiding Judge at the Seoul Western District Court, thereby accumulating extensive judicial experience. After leaving the bench in 2010, he served as a professor at Inha Law School, where he mentored the next generation of legal professionals. From 2017 until recently, he served as the Head of Legal Affairs at Hyosung Group, overseeing all legal and compliance matters across the group. 

In particular, Mr. Kim completed the Logistics MBA program at Inha University and subsequently earned both a master’s and a doctoral degree. He is widely regarded as the first legal professional in Korea to obtain a Ph.D. in logistics. He currently serves as Vice President of the Korea Distribution Law Association and as a Director of the Korean Payment and Settlement Association, contributing to the academic and practical development of these fields. 

At D&A, Mr. Kim will contribute his expertise across diverse practice areas, including corporate litigation, tax, and distribution/logistics.
