Korea–South Africa Business Forum and KITA Office Opening (30 October 2025) for B20
On 30 October 2025, our firm participated in the Korea–South Africa Business Forum held in Johannesburg, co-organized by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA), the Korea–Africa Foundation (KAF), the South African Chamber of Commerce in Korea (SAFCHAM), and ABSA Bank. The forum brought together key government and business leaders to discuss trade, investment, and industrial cooperation between Korea and South Africa, with particular focus on energy, infrastructure, and critical minerals.
The event also marked the official opening of KITA’s new South Africa office, their first in Africa, which will strengthen Korea’s on-the-ground presence and trade facilitation capacity across the continent. We are proud as D&A LLC to have advised KITA on the establishment, registration, and incorporation of its South Africa entity.
Our Partner Tim Dickens presented and moderated the main panel session, which explored practical pathways to deepen Korea–Africa economic partnerships and highlighted opportunities for collaboration in strategic sectors, while Ms. Kim (Catherine) served as Master of Ceremonies (MC) for the forum.
This engagement reflects our firm’s continuing commitment to supporting Korea’s growing engagement in Africa and to enabling successful partnerships between Korean and African stakeholders.
