Since the number of search and seizure warrant applications has increased at the police level after revising investigative powers between the police and the prosecution in 2021, DR & AJU has launched the Search and Seizure Support Center to ensure a prompt and effective response to these matters.  

The Search and Seizure Support Center is led by Partner Dhong Joo KIM, a former Chief Prosecutor with over 25 years of experience in the prosecution, who serves as the Head of DR & AJU’s Criminal & Compliance (C&C) Group 1. The center also includes Partner You Lee JUNG, a former Departmental Chief Prosecutor, Partner Sang Hyuk YOON, a former prosecutor at the Corruption Investigation Office for High-ranking Officials, Partner Mi Ha IM, a former police officer, and Partner Min Woo HONG, a forensics expert. In particular, the center has established a 24-hour response system to provide swift assistance in response to unannounced search and seizure operations. 

In addition, the center will actively support not only search and seizure operations by investigative authorities but also field investigations by the National Tax Service (NTS) and the Korea Fair Trade Commission (KFTC). In collaboration with DR & AJU Tax. Co., a one-stop response system will be established. Furthermore, the scope of operations will be expanded to include corporate due diligence, going beyond simple defendant defense to identify internal corporate corruption and misconduct through thorough forensic procedures.
