On January 16, DR & AJU hosted the seminar “Strategies for Korean Companies to Enter the Ukrainian Reconstruction Market.” This seminar presented various opportunities related to Ukraine's reconstruction, serving as a platform for Korean companies to explore strategies for entering the Ukrainian market.

During the seminar, representatives from leading domestic and international businesses formed meaningful connections with key figures in international cooperation and Ukraine reconstruction efforts.

The seminar featured five sessions, starting with welcome remarks by DR & AJU’s Managing Partner Mr. Kyu Chul LEE and Mr. Manhee HAN, Chairman of the International Contractors Association of Korea.

The first presentation was delivered by Mr. Ji Hyun BYUN, Senior Advisor at DR & AJU, who provided an overview of Ukraine’s current political situation and the rationale for Korean businesses to enter the Ukrainian market. This was followed by a presentation from a local lawyer at Taylor Wessing Ukraine, who joined online to discuss “Key Considerations for Korean Businesses in Post-War Reconstruction.” Next, DR & AJU’s Foreign Attorney Mr. Suk Min KIM presented on the support measures available for Korean businesses operating in Europe. Afterwards, Mr. Soonkil JUNG, Senior Manager of the Overseas Business Division at Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power Co., Ltd. (KHNP) presented on KNHP’s water reactor i-SMRs and their strategies for entering global markets. The final session featured Mr. Inrok SONG, Deputy Senior Manager of the Global Business Division at K-Water, who gave a presentation on the topic of "Industrial City Planning and Humanitarian Water Supply Support in Ukraine."
