On January 13, DR & AJU Attorney Woorin SUNG was named 2020 Lawyer of the Year for Shipping by Legal Times.

The list of Lawyers of the Year includes 19 lawyers selected across various practice areas.

Mr. Sung represented Qatar's state-owned shipping company during the COVID-19 pandemic last spring. He successfully negotiated a contract for the purchase of a 5,000-ton oil tanker from a Korean shipping company for USD 10 million. Mr. Sung also provided comprehensive legal counsel throughout the process of the delivery of the tanker to the buyer at the Port of Singapore.

The Qatar shipping company expressed its gratitude, noting that Mr. Sung is "the most trusted maritime lawyer in South Korea."
