DR & AJU Becomes First Law Firm to Advance into Proxy Advisory Market

DR & AJU has advanced into the ‘proxy advisory’ market, a field that wields significant influence behind the scenes at shareholder meetings.

The firm has launched the AJU Research Institute of Corporate Management (ARICM), a subsidiary that serves as a proxy advisory firm and is headed by Jeong Eui LEE.

A proxy advisory firm advises companies and organizations on matters related to the exercise of voting rights at shareholder meetings.

These firms assist institutional investors, such as pension funds and asset management companies, by analyzing shareholder proposals and providing recommendations to maximize shareholder interests.
