DR & AJU Provides One-stop Legal Service for "Tax Risk" Companies
DR & AJU’s Tax Practice Group provides a full range of legal services on tax-related matters, such as national tax, local tax, international tax, and customs.
The Group is composed of eminent tax experts with many years of practical experience, encompassing competent lawyers and certified public accountants who worked at the National Tax Service, the Korea Customs Service, and the Tax Tribunal.
The head of the Group is Managing Partner Kyu Chul LEE, who served as the Research Judge at the Supreme Court of Korea and a member of the Legal Review Committee of the National Tax Service.
Partner Shin Hee KIM, who served as litigation manager at the Seoul Regional Tax Office and an advisor to the National Tax Service, leads the team.
In August of last year, a joint investigation response team for tax crimes was newly established. This team handles not only existing tasks but also provides comprehensive solutions to cases derived from tax crimes.
DR & AJU’s Tax Practice Group ranked second in the size of tax litigation in the first half of last year and seventh in corporate tax litigation among domestic law firms.
