Timothy DICKENS Gives a Lecture on African Market Entry Strategies
On September 12, Timothy Dickens, a foreign attorney admitted in the UK and South Africa and the Head of the DR & AJU’s Africa Team, gave a lecture on “Major Laws and Regulations in Africa and Tips on Entering the Local Market” at a business seminar presenting businesses with strategies for entering the African market which was co-hosted by Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and the Korea-Africa Center and held at the COEX Center in Seoul.
Other speakers included Dorco, a Korean domestic company that talked about promising business products and success stories in Africa, and the South African online shopping mall Zasttra.com, who explained the online distribution market in Africa.
150 people attended this seminar, including key African figures such as Kenyan Ambassador to Korea Mohamed Gello, Senegalese Second Secretary Peinda Mody Dieng, as well as KITA Director of International Cooperation Group Dong Ki Lee and domestic and foreign public and private officials.
DR AJU’s Africa Team will also hold meetings with ambassadors and officials from Zambia and South Africa in September.
