Mr. Sang Soon PARK is a partner at D&A LLC. His practice is primarily focused on Corporate Law, Finance, Energy-Related Civil Matters, Mergers & Acquisitions, International Transactions, and Blockchain.
Prior to joining D&A, Mr. Park served as in-house counsel at the Legal Affairs Department of the Export-Import Bank of Korea and the International Business Department of the Korea Securities Depository, where he gained extensive hands-on experience in domestic and international financial and capital markets and developed a deep understanding of the legal services required by financial institutions and corporate clients.
Mr. Park advises domestic and foreign corporate clients, including financial institutions, on a broad range of matters involving international finance, overseas project finance, ship and aircraft financing, securities finance disputes, M&A, investments, and foreign exchange transactions. In particular, he regularly advises major Korean financial institutions, including banks, securities firms, capital companies, and savings banks, as well as state-owned energy companies, on transaction structuring, contract drafting and negotiations, financial regulatory matters, and dispute resolution.
Mr. Park also represents clients in domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration proceedings, contributing to effective dispute resolution through the precise analysis of complex factual and transactional issues and strategic advocacy combining legal reasoning with evidentiary support.
