DR & AJU Sponsors “2024 Korea-Africa Trade & Industry Cooperation Forum and Consulting”
The "2024 Korea-Africa Trade & Industry Cooperation Forum and Consulting," jointly sponsored by DR & AJU, the South African Chamber of Commerce in Korea, and the Korea-Africa Foundation, will be held on Tuesday, November 19, at the Conference Room on the 51st floor of the Trade Tower.
Hosted by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) and organized by the Korea International Trade Association (KITA) and Korea Plant Industries Association (KOPIA), this forum leverages the economic achievements of the "2024 Korea-Africa Summit" to discuss strategies for entering African markets, fostering mutual exchanges, providing market insights, and identifying promising areas for collaboration. This forum will serve as a valuable opportunity for companies seeking to expand exports to emerging markets in 2025.
The forum will kick off with an opening address by In Ho LEE, Vice Chairman of the Korea International Trade Association, followed by congratulatory remarks from In Kyo CHEONG, Minister for Trade, and a welcome address by Chafik RACHADI, Moroccan Ambassador to Korea. The program will comprise the following two sessions and individual consultations with corporate and institutional representatives.
Session 1: "Current Issues and Future Prospects of Korea-Africa Economic Cooperation"
Session 2: "Information on Entering African Markets"
DR & AJU’s foreign attorney Catherine Kyeong KIM will be presenting on "African Legal Systems and Key Considerations" during Session 2.
